Ein Team an Sozialarbeiterinnen, das versucht, die L\u00fccke zu f\u00fcllen, die die Eltern der f\u00fcnf Protagonistinnen hinterlassen haben, die sich gemeinsam gegen das Katastrophische stemmen, dem die Frauen, nun junge M\u00fctter, ausgesetzt waren oder sind. Stilistisch baut der Film auf den dokumentarisch grundierten Sozialrealismus, f\u00fcr den die Filmemacher stehen. Statt ein Schicksal ins Zentrum zu stellen, zeigen sie ein Spektrum, wie es sich an diesem sozialen Ort auff\u00e4chert&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir sehen ein gro\u00dfartiges Ensemble: Perla (Lucie Laruelle) wollte auch eine Familie, so wie ihre gro\u00dfe Schwester, jetzt k\u00e4mpft sie darum, dass ihr Freund sein Kind und sie nicht verl\u00e4sst. Jessica (Babette Verbeek) m\u00f6chte ihre Mutter kennenlernen, ihrem Kind die Gro\u00dfmutter erringen. Ariane (Jana\u00efna Halloy Fokan) m\u00f6chte keinesfalls zu ihrer alkoholkranken Mutter und deren gewaltt\u00e4tigem Freund zur\u00fcck: Sie m\u00f6chte ihr Kind in Sicherheit bringen. Julie (Elsa Houben) m\u00f6chte mit Freund und Kind Inzest und Drogenabh\u00e4ngigkeit hinter sich lassen. Na\u00efma (Samia Hilmi) hofft, dass die Wiederann\u00e4herung an ihre Mutter gelingt und sie mit ihrem Kind einen Weg zur\u00fcck in die Familie findet, ohne abermals versto\u00dfen zu werden. Ein Kind zu bekommen, war als Teil der L\u00f6sung gedacht, das Bed\u00fcrfnis zu stillen, selbst als Kind geliebt zu werden: ein kraftvoller Akt, immerhin.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wie in ihren anderen Filmen zeigen Jean-Pierre und Luc Dardenne eine Gesellschaft, die versagt und Hilfe nur anbietet, wenn es eigentlich schon zu sp\u00e4t ist, wenn ein \u201eFall\u201c entstanden ist: Junge M\u00fctter waren seit jeher Objekt der F\u00fcrsorge. Die Eltern, selbst marginalisiert, werden zu T\u00e4ter:innen, verleugnen, misshandeln, missbrauchen ihre Kinder. Und sie verlassen sie, allen voran die V\u00e4ter (nach denen nicht einmal gesucht wird).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Arbeit im Heim setzt am Ende der Kette an, besch\u00fctzt auf Zeit die neue Mutter-Kind-Dyade, aber sie bleibt gegen die Macht der Verh\u00e4ltnisse hilflos. Von allem br\u00e4uchte es mehr, und f\u00fcr alle br\u00e4uchte es Angebote. Wir sehen Sozialarbeiter:innen, die alles aufbieten, was ihnen zur Verf\u00fcgung steht \u2013 wir sehen so vieles nicht; es gibt Medikamente, die beim Entzug helfen, aber keine Psychotherapie. Das Heim steht nur befristet zur Verf\u00fcgung \u2013 die Hilfe ist nicht an den Bed\u00fcrfnissen der jungen Frauen ausgerichtet, geschweige denn an jenen ihres famili\u00e4ren Umfelds.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ob Sozialarbeit einen Unterschied macht? Wir wissen nicht, was kommt, und die Belastungen auf den Schultern der jungen Frauen erscheinen auch dann noch \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigend, wenn gl\u00fcckliche F\u00fcgungen einen Lichtblick verschaffen.
